Zacarías resigns as Sportivo Italiano manager

Unbelievably, after three weeks as Sportivo Italiano manager, Claudio Zacarías resigned.

It has been a non stop season for Italiano. From the heights of Promotion from the Primera C, up to the relegation zone, and going through managers, new top boss Claudio Zacarías resigned to the helm at Deportivo Italiano after only three weeks.

Zacarías first started off by losing to Deportivo Armenio at home two-nil. Afterwards, they fell 3-1 against Barracas Central, and the result that defined Zacarías’s decision was losing four-nil against Comunicaciones.

Italiano will now have a tough time deciding for a manager on such short notice after such a rash decision, and the main candidates so far are fan favorite Juan Carlos Kopriva (who has been touted several times for clubs such as Barracas Central) and Salvador “el Tano Pasini”, fresh off Deportivo Morón and on the lookout for a position.
