The Acassuso team has signed former Almirante Brown defender Hernán Ortiz for a 18-month contract.
The 23 year old defender has signed for the northern Buenos Aires team today, after having played all of his career for the Isidro Casanova team. Ortiz was brought to la fragata‘s first team in 2010 under the command of long-serving manager Blas Giunta and was a permanent starter in the western team.
Acassuso are now on the process of rebuilding its team, after having let go at least ten players including captain and figure Gustavo Ruhl, and striker Alfredo Abalos. Whereas Almirante Brown, competing on the same category, is looking to rebuild its team in order to bid for one of the promotion spots.
