The former Atlanta defender has signed for Caruso Lombardi’s side.
Alejandro Alemandi, former Atlanta and San Lorenzo defender, is signing today to become Tristán Suárez’s newest reinforcement.
The defender, now 24 years old, has only played a handful of games, and scored only one goal in one season for Atlanta. Previously, he had played for the San Lorenzo reserve team and Instituto de Córdoba. He had come to Atlanta as one of two recommended signings by at-the-moment manager Sebastián “gallego” Méndez along with fan favourite goalkeeper Matías Vega. Alemandi’s form in Villa Crespo had been so far above expectations and wasn’t being considered for a starting spot by manager Carlos Mayor.
Alemandi becomes one of Caruso’s signings for this Transitional Tournament, for high-spending Tristán Suárez who has by now signed players like Gastón Losa.
