The former Atlanta striker has signed on for Rondina’s wonder team for the Nacional B.
After a shocking final on the Primera B (now Metropolitano A) playoffs for the promotion, Sergio Rondina has bagged himself his first incorporation for the Nacional B season… and someone he knows: former Belgrano de Córdoba player and Atlanta icon Andrés Soriano. Rondina has directed Soriano previously in the Villa Crespo team in season 2013- 2014 and has become the first signing of the 2015 season for the Campana team.
The striker has declared his happiness to play for Villa Dálmine in the Nacional B season despite calls he had received from the Villa Crespo team to try to sign him again for Atlanta.
Soriano, 30 years old, had been out of comission in 2014, after parting ways with Los Andes due to a knee injury that kept him incapable of playing through the whole year, from which he recovered back in Córdoba.
Soriano has played for Juniors (Córdoba), Atlanta (two spells), Belgrano (two spells, in Córdoba, Primera División), Espoli (Ecuador), Deportivo Cuenca (Ecuador), and Los Andes (Metropolitano A, Lomas de Zamora).
