Atlanta has signed midfielder Matías Rojas from Deportivo Armenio.
Matías, 25 years old, played 35 games last season, scoring 3 goals (1 penalty). He has only played for Deportivo Armenio, and emerged from Argentinos Juniors’s youth teams. He has also played in Chile, for Ñublense, Naval and Deportes Temuco. He is often described as a technical and talented midfielder and has been well regarded for his performances in Armenio and in Chile.
He comes as Atlanta’s fifth signing (after Santillo, Bonfigli, Puch and Torres) to gain a place as central midfielder along the likes of Juan Daniel Galeano, Martín Palisi and Federico Sardella.
