Cristian Bordacahar signs for Chacarita

Striker Cristian Bordacahar signed for Chacarita today.

Bordacahar, now 23 years old, comes on loan from Tigre for six months.

Nicknamed “Chapu”, he has played for Tigre (from the youth teams to Primera in 2012) then Brown de Adrogué in the 2012-2013 season and after that his return to Tigre for the 2013-2014 season. He has struggled to get on the teamsheet and joins Chacarita in the hopes of gaining some more time on the pitch.

Bordacahar could be the last (after being the latest) signing in a string of buys the San Martin has made, such as Damián Manso, Víctor Zapata, and Facundo Melivilo.

Chacarita has won its two first matches so far (3-0 against Español, and 2-1 against Atlanta) and looks to be the most serious contender for promotion to the Nacional B in its group so far.
