Damián Luna, former Nueva Chicago midfielder, returns to original club Los Andes.
The former Los Andes midfielder has already played for Los Andes in the 2011- 2012 season, and has played for the Primera División teams San Lorenzo and Independiente de Avellaneda, along with Universidad Católica (Chile), Sao Caetano (Brazil). He has won the Copa Sudamericana with San Lorenzo on 2002.
Luna, once touted a future superstar in San Lorenzo, has failed to live up to the promise on Primera Division and found himself playing for a string of teams such as Nueva Chicago, Los Andes, Defensor Sporting (Uruguay), Inti Gas Deportes (Perú) and such.
Luna cites his possibility to return to the Lomas club as a “happy chance”, yet stating that he’s not fully ready to play a full game yet, regarding his fitness. He will be at the disposal of manager Fabián Nardozza for the upcoming season.
