Club Deportivo Ramón Santamarina (Tandil) striker Diego Galeano has joined Los Andes as the second signing of the season.
Galeano, 28 years old, has previously played for Unión de Mar del Plata (Argentino A tournament) as well as Alvarado, both being Mar del Plata teams. He is nicknamed “chapa”. He was on the Ramón Santamarina de Tandil team that gained promotion this last 2013-2014 season to the Nacional B.
Los Andes, far behind expectations this season, will look to reinforce its team and go for another shot at promotion to the Nacional B tournament after finishing seventh on the overall table league. Its team has sufered a slight dismemberment of the roster, though, as some of the players may be leaving such as Andrés Soriano (courted by Rondina’s Villa Dálmine) and Daniel Franco (currently on trial at Nacional B’s Argentinos Juniors). Despite the fact that team failed to achieve its expectations on the last season, Fabián Nardozza remains as the team’s manager.
