Ezequiel Petrovelli signs for Pilar-based Fénix.
The midfielder, now 31 years old, signs on to be one of the most important Fenix signings for this season, along with Jonathan Philippe, in a quest to replace a disarmed roster for the upcoming 2014 Transitional (short tournament). He can play both midfielder and striker and could become an important asset to the Pilar team.
Petrovelli is nicknamed “Petrogol” or “Petro” and has played for teams like Central Córdoba, Olmedo (Ecuador), Ferro (Nacional B- Argentina), Atlético Tucumán (Nacional B- Argentina), Espoli (Ecuador), Tristán Suárez (Primera B Metropolitana- Argentina) and Nueva Chicago, with whom he achieved promotion to the Nacional B Tournament. He played for Nueva Chicago for 69 games, scoring 18 goals.
