Favio Orsi and Sergio Gomez, managers of the Fenix team that accessed the promotion playoffs on the 2014 season, have left the Pilar side for the Bajo Flores recently promoted team Deportivo Español.
The couple has left with positive reviews after having achieved qualification to the Promotion playoffs, despite having lost to Temperley, this was a very positive season for the couple (and the highest position ever for the Pilar Team). But, with institutional problems looming (board director Cesar Mansilla, in charge of football, having left because of disagreements with the rest of the board) as well as the dismantlement of the roster (Marcos Riquelme left for Guede’s Palestino side in Chile, Puch to Atlanta, Daniel Gonzalez on a free transfer and Cachete Ruiz on the verge of being signed by Chacarita) has opted to go to the green pastures of El Gallego.
Deportivo Español, on the other side, is enjoying its rebirth on this promotion, after having been put into administration, and rising back from the Primera D division after its breakdown. Its manager, Jorge Franzoni, has opted not to continue on the institution after the promotion to Primera B achieved through playoffs against Cambaceres.
