The former San Martin (San Juan) manager will take charge in a beleaguered All Boys side.
Gabriel Perrone has come to terms with the beleaguered Floresta side to become the new manager for the 2015 season, in which All Boys faces a strong challenge to stay in the Nacional B at a season that saw All Boys last in the table and subsequently point challenged for the relegation race this next year and with a slimmer roster after the departure of many players but first and foremost goalkeeper and captain Nicolás Cambiasso.
Perrone also stated: “Voy a All Boys para jugarmela, para ir por el desafío más importante. Sueño con el ascenso. Si no sería trabajar en vano” (“I’m going to All Boys to bet heavily on it, to go for the biggest challenge. I dream about the promotion. Otherwise it would be working in vain”) as he stated on Solo Ascenso where he also said “Hay que apostar a un grupo y apoyarnos entre todos. Sabemos que el promedio del descenso al inicio va a ser bajo. Habrá que sumar muchos puntos. Confiamos en nuestro trabajo” (“We have to bet it all on the group and support each other. We know the relegation average score at the beginning will be low. We’ll have to sum up many points. We trust our work”).
Perrone has previously directed teams such as Olmedo (Ecuador), Emelec (Ecuador), Deportivo Cuenca (Ecuador), Rangers (Chile), and San Martín de San Juan (Primera División, Argentina). His only title is one promotion to the Chilean Primera División with Rangers de Talca.
