Nueva Chicago returns to training

The Mataderos team returns to training for its season in the Nacional B.

With the presentation of Angel Labruna (photo) as their new manager, Nueva Chicago have returned to training ground for the pre-season.

Nueva Chicago’s first two incorporations haven’t joined the training ground though they will soon enough: we refer to Alejandro “El Oso” Sanchez, former Platense goalkeeper who played the last season for Audax Italiano, requested personally by Labruna who managed him on the last season in Chile, and Sebastián Matos, also a former Platense player, whose transfer we have recently commented.

There have only been only two departures to Labruna’s team: Adrián Scifo, right back, who left for Primera Division’s Quilmes, and Andrés “El Lobo” Montenegro, who returns to Flandria.
