Oscar Acuña joins Deportivo Armenio

The Maschwitz team snatched the (now) freed player from Atlanta.

The striker comes in as Armenio’s fifth incorporation after yesterday’s incorporation of Nahuel Sica opted by the Armenio Manager Federico Domínguez.

Acuña debuted for the Atlanta first team in 2009. He is 26 years old and can play either as a striker or as a winger or midfielder through the center. For lack of height (he’s less than 1.70mts tall), he has developed the capability of playing on-deck, either by passing, dribbling or 1-2 play making with his teammates.

He had been on the fringe this last season, switching between the bench and not even that, after being sidelined for other choices for his position such as Sebastián Sciorilli, Fabricio Pedrozo, Emiliano Bonfigli, Federico Maraschi amongst others playing the same position.

Acuña has only played for Atlanta since its youth teams, although he has played a spell on loan in Almagro in the 2011-2012 season in the Primera B Metropolitana back then.
