Victor Gomez, striker for Campana’s Villa Dálmine (Primera B) has become the newest signing for the Pergamino team.
Gomez, who is 28 years old, has played the last season for the Violeta team under the command of Sergio Rondina, and has managed to scrape out of relegation in a maneuver which has caused quite a controversy for Villa Dalmine to stay afloat in the Primera B Metropolitana (V. Dálmine played a team composed of subs and members of the youth teams of Colegiales on the last game, after the Munro team board of directors deemed to do so in a questionable decision).
The striker defines himself: “I’m a striker who goes by the touchline, but through the middle as well. In Merlo, in the last stages of the Nacional B I played deep. I know I’m not that tall, but I move well and have speed as a virtue” as he states on AscensoPais’s article.
In Douglas Haig, Gomez will be under the command of Andrés Guglieminpietro, ex- Boca and Gimnasia de la Plata player, in a campaign where Douglas will strive to push away from relegation positions.
