The right back, in contention at Ferro, has been released and will return to the team he helped promote to the Nacional B.
The twenty five year old right wing back for the Atlanta team that got promoted to the Nacional B back in 2011, Lucas Mancinelli, sealed his return today to the Villa Crespo Leon Kolbowski. Back in 2011, Mancinelli had been one of the players with high performances throughout the season, through his ability to outpace rival players and crossing skills in a team by then managed by Javier Alonso. He stayed until the end of the 2012 season where he returned to Lanús, from where he had been loaned through a ‘feeder club’ agreement between both clubs.
In contention after riffs, and a souring relationship with managers Medero- Marini, and after that with José “Pepe” Romero, who has also resigned after a season that saw Ferro at the bottom of its group in the Nacional B, and the desire of Atlanta manager Arnaldo “Cacho” Sialle, gave in to the opportunity for the bohemio fans to recuperate a player seen highly in its esteem.
Atlanta has been one of three teams the wing back has played in, following Lanús (from which youth teams he emerged, and where he played the beginning of the last Copa Sudamericana for Guillermo Barros Schelotto, until being relegated beyond the substitutes), and Ferro Carril Oeste, where he played the Transitional 2014 six month tournament.
