Danilo Gerlo signs for Platense

The former River Plate and Quilmes man signs for El Calamar.

Danilo Gerlo, former River and Quilmes player, now 35 years old, has signed this week for Platense.

“Paco” as he is usually known, was born in Los Quirquirinchos, Santa Fé, and has played for teams such as Central Córdoba (Primera B Metropolitana at the time, now Primera C Metropolitana), Quilmes (for two spells, Primera División), River Plate (Primera División), Real Unión (Spain), Arsenal de Sarandí (Primera División) and Unión de Santa Fé (Nacional B).

The Vicente Lopez team, led by Roque Alfaro, has at least caught ten players including Maximiliano Ferreira, Leonardo Morales and Pablo Miranda for the upcoming season.
