The pincha team has hired Raúl Olivares Galvez, a chilean goalkeeper.
The Caseros team has opened the transfer window after the elections that saw the whole team ejected as well as former chairman Patricio Isla Casares, with a certain bang to it.
Olivares Galvez, now 26 years old, has played for teams such as Colo Colo, Unión Española, La Serena and Santiago Morning. This will be his first experience abroad from Chile, after having won five titles in that country (2006 and 2009 with Colo Colo, and a Primera División and Supercopa de Chile title with Unión Española in 2013). He has also won the Copa BancoEstado title with Colo Colo in 2010, and has been part of the U20 Chilean side in the Esperanzas de Toulon tournament in 2010 along with other known players such as Sebastián Toro and Cristóbal Jorquera.
Whilst he has won many titles, this has been done mainly from the sidelines, as he has often been, with the exception of 2010, as the team’s sub or third goalkeeper.
