Federico Dominguez resigns at Deportivo Armenio

After today’s three-nil defeat against Estudiantes (BA), Federico Dominguez handed in his resignation.

A baffling 3-0 result against Estudiantes de Buenos Aires ended up sealing the former River Plate defender’s fate in charge of Maschwitz’s based Deportivo Armenio.

Dominguez managed Deportivo Armenio for over 40 games, having won 10, drawn 13 and lost 17 out of the last forty games. Armenio had lost as well the two last games, including the Copa Argentina draw. He had been in charge since the second half of 2014.

The news come bearing a heavy heart effect for the Armenio team, whom last week suffered the death of Christian “Patulo” Gomez, who died playing for Atlético Paraná last week, but who had been formed at the club up until last year.

There has not been any indication towards who will be the new Armenio manager yet.
