The former Boca Juniors striker agrees to return to the country and play the Nacional B tournament.
Franco Cangele, once hailed the Boca Juniors wonderkid in the Carlos Bianchi era in Boca Juniors, and overshadowed by none other than Carlos Tevez, has dropped the bomb and will play for Boca Unidos in the 2016 season in the Nacional B tournament.
Cangele, now 31 years old, had been playing in the Turkish premier division for almost two years now after he left his second stint in Boca Juniors, where he didn’t get too much playing time on his belt. He has played for teams such as Boca Juniors (Primera Division), Independiente (Primera División), Colon (Primera Division) Sakaryaspor (Turkey), Kayserispor (Turkey) and Elazigspor (Turkey).
