The former Morón defender signed for Deportivo Riestra today.
After signing his release, former Deportivo Morón and Estudiantes de Buenos Aires defender Gastón “Tato” Montero signed for Deportivo Riestra today to play the 2015 Primera B Tournament. Montero was incorporated as a free player, as the window for transfers between clubs has been closed for 8 days now.
Montero plays mainly as central defender and at times as wing back, and will probably be the central defender to pair along with Gonzalo Peralta. He has previously played for Vélez Sarsfield (Primera División), San Martín de San Juan (Primera División), Gimnasia Jujuy (Nacional B), Los Andes (Nacional B), San Martín (Tucumán, Nacional B), Platense (Primera B Metropolitana), Estudiantes de Buenos Aires (Primera B Metropolitana) and Deportivo Morón (Primera B Metropolitana), for whom he signed back in 2014.
Gastón “Tato” Montero will probably be the last signing in this transfer market for Riestra, after having signed Marcos Torres, Jorge Benítez, Daniel Caputo, Lucas Cueto, Leonardo Ruiz ,Daniel Ojeda and Alexander Corro as well.
