The iconic manager, after not a few doubts, returns home to Floresta.
After 700 days, iconic manager José “Pepe” Romero will be returning to the Floresta team to try to bring el albo back to its glory days. To remember: Pepe was the manager that achieved the promotion to Primera Division with All Boys in the 2007/2008 season. He will be joined by Angel Mamberto (Assistant Manager) and Hernán Pittón and Luis Caire as fitness coaches.
Romero only managed one team during his absence from All Boys, and that was Ferro Carril Oeste, in the Nacional B, during 2014. He took charge initially for All Boys in 2004 and led the team finally to Primera División. This is Romero’s fourth period in charge of the Club with whom he had been involved with since his player days in 1967.
In the meantime, All Boys has been in ill form this tournament, being the second team from the bottom, with 14 points (same as the last team, Sportivo Belgrano), with three wins, five draws and eight losses in sixteen games, and having lost today to Ramón Santamarina by 2-1. Next schedule for the Floresta team will be to face Chacarita Juniors this week.
