The former Atlanta player signs for el Gallito.
Lucas Nanía, the 31 year old creative midfielder that played for Huracán, has come to reinforce Morón’s bid for promotion this season under the command of Blas Giunta.
Nanía has played so far for San Lorenzo (Primera División, from whose youth ranks he has come), Palestino (Chile), Estudiantes de Mérida (Venezuela), Deportivo Pereira (Colombia), San Martín de San Juan (Nacional B), Everton (Chile), Vitória (Brazil), Huracán (Nacional B), Independiente Rivadavia (Mendoza, Nacional B), Atlanta (Primera B), and Apollon Smyrnis (Second Division, Greece).
The last game Nanía played in Argentina against Morón with Atlanta ended up in a spectacular goal:
So far, Morón has not delved into quantity but for quality: it has only let go few players, the most notable of: icon striker Damián Akerman, due to personal differences with Giunta (and has wound up at Gimnasia de Mendoza at the Federal A tournament), but kept the entire starting roster for the last season including almost retired goalkeeper Sebastián Peratta. Regarding the incorporations, only two have come so far: Diego Barrios Suárez, and goalkeeper Carlos Morel as a second choice to Peratta.
