The ex- Racing Club player has signed for the San Luis team to play the Nacional B Tournament.
Estévez, now 37 years old, comes to the San Luis team to join Christian “El Ogro” Fabbiani in the strikeforce. He had been released off of Chacarita by Anibal Biggeri.
“El chanchi” Estevez (nicknamed so because of his short, stacked figure), has played for teams such as Racing Club (Primera División), Racing de Santander (Spain), Olimpo (Bahia Blanca) (Primera División), Zapultepec (Mexico), Estrela Amadora (Portugal), Estudiantes de Mérida (Venezuela), Antofagasta (Chile), Cerro Porteño (Paraguay), Gela Calcio (Italy), Almirante Brown (Primera B Metropolitana), Deportivo Merlo (Primera B Metropolitana), Sacachispas (Primera C Metropolitana) and Chacarita (Primera B Metropolitana).
He plays mainly as a winger, and is supposed to be fit for the manager’s (“El Indio” Ortiz) orders in two weeks.
