Preparing for its upcoming 110th birthday, Retiel has released a new ‘Special Edition’ kit.
Platense’s 110th birthday is coming in eight days. And the Calamar board is taking it seriously, as well as Retiel, the kit sponsor: they have released a 110th birthday ‘Special Edition’ kit to remmemorate the club’s anniversary.
That’s why Retiel has developed for Platense a new limited edition of shirts (250 shirts made only) that bring back the “Monaco” shirt model Platense wore 25 years ago, whilst in Primera División, under Puma.
The shirt is made 100% on microfiber polyester with a fast-drying technology (that goes way beyond the usual fabric treatment sponsors kit use for ascenso teams, as well as a special logo applied for the ocasion.
Said shirt is being sold in Platense Móvil, a special truck designed for the ocasion. Along with the shirt comes the packaging, and a special poster dedicated to the new design (as seen in our previous picture).
The 1989-1990 was a special season for the club as many of the club’s icons bloomed- such as Spontón, Cascini, Scotto, Espina, Serrano and Baena.
