The former Boca Juniors striker, now 37 years old, signs for Barracas Central.
Pipa played the 2013-2014 season with Boca Unidos (Nacional B) from Corrientes, where he played 25 games, scoring five goals. His signing comes as he was told by the Boca Unidos manager Carlos Trullet he would not be in contemption for a starting or sub position in the team next year.
Estevez has played for teams such as San Lorenzo (Primera División), Boca Juniors (Primera División), Botafogo (Brasil), Colón de Santa Fé (Primera División), Racing Club (Primera División), Académica de Coimbra (Portugal), Universidad de Chile (Chile), Unión Española (Chile, where he got to play the Copa Libertadores), and Boca Unidos (Nacional B). He has played as a striker through his career, mostly as a winger through the right side, taking advantage of his speed and skill to push off defenders.
Estevez comes as the fourth signing of the season, after Adrián Albornoz (Riestra, Primera B), Matías Castro (Free player), and experienced defender Pablo de Muner.
