Walter Perazzo takes over at Ferro

After standing just a step away from the Primera División, Ferro goes back to work with a new manager and promotion as the only objective.

After a series of talks between the club and the Manager and his staff, Ferro decided to part ways with successful manager Ariel Broggi. And the person chosen to lead Ferro Carril Oeste will be former Argentina National U20 team manager Walter Perazzo, for an upcoming six month tournament that will find Ferro (after many years) in the spotlight to achieve promotion.

Perazzo will have Damián Castellanos as his assistant manager, and Marcelo Frezzini as his fitness coach, whilst Fabián Cancelarich (from the previous team) will remain as goalkeeping coach.

The current roster available to Perazzo consists of: Braian Aquino, Franco Aragón, Israel Coll, Christian Curuchet, Martín Delgado, Facundo Garnier, Leonardo Incorvaia, Juan Larrea, Emanuel Macedo, Rodrigo Mazur, Sebastián Menguez, Alexis Morales Heredia, Christian Limousin, Ezequiel Pérez, Facundo Vera, Guillermo Vernetti, José Vizcarra, Luis Salmerón and Pablo Frontini.

There have been no significant departures from the roster, and there have not yet been incorporations to the team so far though there are names in sight such as Alan Aguirre (Douglas Haig) and Renzo Vera (San Martín de San Juan).

Perazzo, now 53 years old, has managed three teams through his whole career as a Manager, starting from 1998: El Porvenir, Olimpo, Ferro and the Argentina U20 team.
