The 24 year old target man from Nacional B’s Brown de Adrogué has signed for the Vicente López side.
Alejandro Quintana, one of the lead attacking men in Pablo Vicó’s Nacional B side Brown de Adrogué has left the south side of the city to go to the north side’s Primera B Metropolitana outfit Platense, now under the command of the former Colegiales manager Juan Carlos Kopriva that came close to Promotion to the Nacional B tournament last season. After the departure of the club icon Daniel “Trapito” Vega as well as at least other ten names (such as Peláez, Chmil and Vega), the arrival of the tall striker comes as very good news.
Quintana has played for four clubs throughout his career: Huracán (Primera División), Tristán Suárez (Primera B Metropolitana), Brown de Adrogué (Nacional B, with whom he has conquered one promotion to the Nacional B) and now Platense. He has been touted to join some of the categories’ biggest clubs as well such as Atlanta and Dep. Morón in the past. He joins Platense with names such as Francisco Vazzoler (Colegiales) and Daniel Delgado (Sarmiento de Junín).
