The former All Boys striker has signed for el Bohemio.
Franco Olego, now 28 years old, has decided to drop down a category from Nacional B’s All Boys to play for an arch rival- Atlanta, despite being in José “Pepe” Romero’s consideration. He will join also recently-arrived teammate Jonathan Lopez in Villa Crespo.
Olego has played for teams such as Defensores de Villa Ramallo (Argentino A), Talleres de Cordoba (Nacional B), and All Boys. So far, Olego has 69 goals in his career through all clubs in 202 games total. He has signed an 18-month long contract with Atlanta.
Olego is one of the newest faces in Atlanta side that had to (literally) replace a full roster as only one player remained from before (Mauro Dobler), and alongside names such as Claudio Verino, Federico Guerra, Cristian Podesta, Nahuel Losada, Juan Manuel Tolosa, Rodrigo Alonso, Ariel Otermin and others.
