The former Velez Sarsfield and Independiente midfielder, amongst others, takes a dive into the Primera B Metropolitana.
Franco Razzotti, now 30 years old, has signed for Primera B Metropolitana candidate Defensores de Belgrano after having played an unsuccessful season for Colombia’s Deportivo Pasto. Razzotti had been touted more than once as one of the players to look out for in Primera División. Nevertheless, a career riddled with injuries and substandard performances has put a mark on the players’ career.
Razzotti has played for Velez Sarsfield (Primera División), Sporting Cristal (Perú), Independiente (Primera División), Fotbal Club Vaslui (Romania), Independiente Santa Fe (Colombia), Club Deportivo Municipal (Perú) and Club Deportivo Pasto (Colombia). He has achieved five Primera División titles with Velez Sarsfield and one title in Colombia with Independiente Santa Fe in 2014.
