The former Atlético de Rafaela man drops category for the first time and has signed for the Villa Maipú team.
Germán Re, the former Atlético de Rafaela (Primera División) player, has agreed to go on loan and descend one category into the Nacional B tournament for Chacarita Juniors. The loan agreement in hand will be of 18 months (the standard length of a player contract in argentine professional football) with an agrement of mutual termination in 6 months should any party be willing to terminate the contract.
Ré, now 34 years old, has played for Newell’s Old Boys (Primera División, for six years), Estudiantes de La PLata (Primera División, for five years), Atlético de Rafaela (Primera División, one year) and Chacarita Juniors. He has won three titles: two Primera División championships (one in 2004 with Newell’s Old Boys, under the command of “el tolo” Gallego, and one with Estudiantes de La Plata in 2010) and a Copa Libertadores (in 2010, with Estudiantes de La Plata).
