The former Acassuso player, now manager, has resigned after a streak of lost games.
Rodrigo Martin Bilbao, up until yesterday Acassuso manager and known ascenso player for years, has resigned his position at the northern Buenos Aires third division team. The decision came after a 4-0 crushing defeat against a lacklustre Atlanta side, with his team coming apart at the second half of the game.
Bilbao had already handed in his resignation to the Acassuso VP Javier “Pipo” Marin last week after a campaign that has left Acassuso from the top of the table down with four defeats, three draws and only one won game.
There has not been indication yet of who the new Acassuso manager will be.
