“El Ogro” is leaving Primera C’s Deportivo Merlo after meagre campaigns, and heading into El Porve.
Christian “El Ogro” (“the ogre”) Fabbiani will be once again plunging into the deep, deep waters of the Primera C as he threads away from Primera C team Deportivo Merlo and into El Porvenir, a once Nacional B team now threatened with relegation in Argentina’s fourth division Primera C Metropolitana category.
Fabbiani, now 34 years old, has atttributed his decision for personal reasons, stating that Deportivo merlo was the team that lured him back to enjoying football. He was better known in his past for playing for Primera División teams such as Lanús, Newell’s and River Plate.
